We are pleased to announce that we will be consulting with local residents and businesses throughout July to gather feedback on proposals to develop a new anaerobic digestion plant at Thames Water’s Banbury sewage treatment works. EcoGenR8 has been working with Thames Water, who are taking forward the development which will convert food waste into renewable electricity to power up to 3,900 homes.
Information about the proposed development is available on the Banbury sewage treatment works page of our website, where we also invite feedback on the proposals. Further details will be released at a public exhibition on Friday 12th July from 3.30pm until 7.30pm at the Banbury Museum.
